The Project
We were tasked with reducing PPC spend, increasing website enquiries, and outperforming competitors on Google.
We successfully won a competitive tender to provide SEO to one of the largest independent insurance brokers in the UK. At that time, PPC was dominating the client’s marketing budget, while the site’s Google rankings were ranking below their market competitors.
The Solution
Initial analysis revealed several factors that had caused the site to fall behind competitors in its most competitive markets. It also highlighted that significant foundational work was required before we could begin an effective SEO and backlinking campaign. The client therefore chose to rebuild the website from the ground up, and appointed us to lead the redevelopment.
The new site was built from the start with the right keyword focus, ensuring the right content was in place to meet the needs of the keywords, and that each page was perfect for SEO. Link-building began, and the rest is history!
Within two weeks of the new site going live, not only were the rankings significantly improved, there was an overall increase in traffic across all sectors of their business, at over 2.5%. Almost three years on, and the online figures continued to dominate the client’s marketing activities.
