£284,000
30.5 : 1
This month the website attracted 7,300 visitors and produced 64 enquiries, of which 41 were genuine commercial opportunities. Four projects were won with a combined value of £284,000, against total marketing investment of £9,300.
What went well
Enquiries rose 23% on last month. Organic search is now the largest single source at 26 enquiries, which keeps the average cost per enquiry down to £145.31. Every pound invested in marketing returned 30.5 pounds of won work this month.
What needs watching
The Commercial Flooring page lost search positions after a competitor published a stronger page, and its conversion rate fell following a layout change. Both are being addressed and should recover within six weeks.
Where the money went
Google Ads accounted for £6,450 and produced 19 enquiries at £339 each, one of which has already converted into a £96,000 project. The Essential Marketer retainer of £2,850 covered SEO, content, website changes and reporting.
Sales performance
The open pipeline stands at £1,284,000 with a weighted forecast of £498,150. Average sales cycle is 47 days and the win rate is 44%. Five follow-ups are overdue, which is the single easiest improvement available this month.
What we recommend next
Approve the four content recommendations, move £300 of advertising budget into the refurbishment campaign, and agree the proposed dilapidations campaign for October.
